Alex Boyd

Alex Boyd is a purpose-driven strategic management consultant with 20+ years advising Fortune 500 companies, governments, and global development institutions on market entry, economic diversification, supply chain resilience, and ESG-aligned growth. Recognized for turning complex global, multi-stakeholder problems into actionable strategies that unlock growth, de-risk investments, and enable systemic change in emerging markets. Proven ability to lead consulting cases end-to-end — from hypothesis framing and data-driven analysis to executive presentations and implementation support — across sectors such as consumer goods, energy, industrials, and sustainable trade. He also specializes in assisting firms to meet the procurement requirements of large domestic and international buyers through supplier diagnostics, capability assessments, targeted training, mentoring, coaching, and market linkage support. With extensive emerging markets experience across Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa and MENA, he holds a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from the School of Global Policy and Strategy at the University of California, San Diego, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Lane Jost

Lane Jost is a versatile sustainability operations and advisory practice leader with over 16 years of successful implementation experience across foodservice, consulting, financial services and financial communications industries.

He led the Sustainability & Governance Advisory practice for Edelman Smithfield from 2021-2026. At Edelman Smithfield, Lane managed a global network of experts who delivered a suite of services grounded in strategy and management consulting skills, capital markets experience, investor relations, regulatory expertise and deep ESG knowledge helping clients build and execute sustainability strategies.

He is a seasoned operational sustainability executive having held corporate leadership roles over the last 17 years in the facilities management, financial services and consulting industries. Prior to joining Edelman Smithfield in 2021, he had senior roles on PwC’s national Responsible Business Leadership team helping the firm and its clients drive ESG strategy from creation to performance. Lane was part of the team that developed the firm’s global net zero strategy. In addition to his time at PwC and the PwC Charitable Foundation, Lane has been the Director of Philanthropy and CSR at Santander US, where he led the Bank’s $10M annual grants portfolio, and helped develop the first sustainability strategy at Sodexo USA, across the food service and facilities management firm’s North American footprint.

He has designed ESG and sustainability strategies and produced reports for a wide range of clients, including global firms across service and industry segments, including financial services, alternative asset management, healthcare, technology, media and manufacturing.

Lane is active in impact investing and sustainable finance, serving as an advisor and mentor to early- stage enterprises. He has a Master’s in International Development Economics from the School of Global Policy and Strategy at the University of California, San Diego, and a Bachelor’s in International Studies from Kenyon College. In 2024, Lane was named to the Ethics and Compliance Initiative’s Blue-Ribbon Commission on the Future of ESG.
